I had to create a second blog as I could only have 100 authors per blog. Please give your blog a title to let a reader know what the blog is about.

Facebook: Is it really a good way to stay connected with friends?
After reading my peers opinion from my blogs, I have come to the conclusion that Facebook has gotten completely blown out of proportion and people have become addicted. It is now turning into a waste of time and it seems that people don't use it for the right reasons anymore. If people really want to stay connected with friends I think there are better ways than using Facebook. The younger generation is our future and if their wasting their time with things like Facebook, the future doesn't look too bright. In the end, I think Facebook is a fun thing to do, but people shouldn't let it control their lives.

Facebook has gotten out of hand but that is only with people that have nothing to do other than facebook. Everyone that i went to school with the last 6 years use facebook. I have recognized that the people who use facebook the most are the people not in college. People that I know are doing something with their lives hardley use facebook. Its a good tool for me to stay connnected with all of my friends since I'm a military brat. I have friends that live in Germany all the way to California. Facebook is a great tool for connection but also for the people who abuse it can ruin lives.
ReplyDeleteFacebook could be a good way to keep in touch with your friends because I think of facebook as a widener for one’s social status. Facebook was once geared towards adults and businesses, but now it seems as if our youth has taken over it. The only reason that facebook probably wouldn’t be a useful source for keeping in touch with a friend, is its longevity. If you’re trying to find a friend that you knew back from high school and you’re thirty years of age, that friend just might not have a facebook anymore. The reason being that this would happen, is because facebook is simply linked to teenagers now. "It's like an addiction," the teen said. "You look up one moment and its day and you look up another moment and its night” said by a young teen in an ABC news article. You’re probably better off searching an old friends name in on Google, rather than facebook.
